It was a very busy November for the Unit.  We had a Somalian student move out of the Unit.  We had no idea that he was leaving.  It stinks when they just move with out any notice.  We just received another student yesterday.  This student is from Cuba.  This makes us back up to twelve.  During November, I went to the Kentucky Title I conference.  Learned a lot of great technology from a guy called Kevin Honeycutt.  Learned lots of neat apps to help students with reading.  Also learned how to do “digital jams”.  It’s a cool way to make music with I-Phones, I-Pads, and I-touches.    Here are some websites that are very helpful:

Finally, Cumberland Trace is preparing for our second International Festival on December 13th. I’ll post some pics when it happens.  The students are very excited to be sharing their culture.
